Step 5: Now is the time when you are required to fill out the form carefully with your personal information, such as your name, enrollment number, subject code and other information.

If you are studying in IGNOU, then it is important for you to know that the facility of Google Form for submitting assignments is not currently available in all the regional centres. 

Therefore, Google Forms can only be used when a regional center’s email quota is full and it is unable to receive student assignment emails.

But there is no need to panic! You can also easily submit assignments through email. Let us know how:

Step 1: On the First Page of the assignment, write the same information as your name, subject name and code, program and course code, study center name and code, contact details, etc. As you do in an offline process.

Step 2: Make a scanned copy of your handwritten assignment and convert it into PDF format. Also remember that the assignment of each subject should be in a separate PDF file.

Step 3: You can now search for the email address of your regional center in Google in the same way as you searched for the link of the regional center portal.

Step 4: List the information written on the first page of the assignment in the body of the email.

Step 5: Now attach the PDF file of your assignment and send the email to the concerned regional center email address.

After sending the email:

  • You should receive an acknowledgment email. This may take a few hours.
  • If you do not receive the acknowledgment email, check if the regional portal has shared the Google Form link. If yes, then upload the assignment there also.
